How do I Setup an AirBears/VPN Guest Account?
AirBears Guest accounts allow visitors short term access to the UC Berkeley wireless network that is available at select
locations around campus (Coverage Map). And now they can also be used to log in to the campus Cisco VPN.
Accounts can be created by Faculty and Staff, and are valid for a period of up to one week. Once created, these accounts
can be viewed or modified through the guest account management system.  To access this system you must first
authenticate via CalNet.
Please note that these accounts provide only temporary access to the internet and VPN for your guests. For permanent
access, please contact Cal1 Card Office at 510-643-6839. In some cases your guests may need to configure their laptops
to access the wireless network. For more details please see the documents How do I Configure my Windows XP Laptop for
Wireless Access? and How do I Install and use the Cisco VPN Any Connect Client for the Berkeley Campus? at our How
do I website (http://groups.haas.berkeley.edu/hcs/howdoi.html )
