Berkeley Award
for Distinguished Contributions to Financial Reporting
The Center for Financial Reporting and Management is pleased to announce Donald Kirk as the winner of the Berkeley Award for Distinguished Contributions to Financial Reporting for 2009.
The objective of this award is to recognize an individual in financial reporting that has demonstrated courage, leadership, stewardship, or other meritorious performance in the interest of providing financial information useful to investors in making investment decisions.
The winner was chosen from the nominations by a selection committee that consists of distinguished business leaders from industry, the accounting profession, investment profession, and academia. The recipient was honored at the Conference on Financial Reporting, held on November 6, 2009.
