Accounting at Berkeley
Congratulations to Cal students Andrew Twu, Wendy Chen, Yinran Pan and Dulce Velasco who received scholarships this year at the CalCPA East Bay Chapter Awards Night. The California Society of Certified Public Accountants - East Bay Chapter awarded the scholarships to students with an interest in pursuing professional careers in accounting practice or university faculty positions in accounting.
The California Society of Certified Public Accountants – East Bay Chapter is NOW accepting applications for scholarships. The scholarship amounts will range from $3,000 - $6,000 and students must be juniors, seniors or in post-graduate studies. The deadline is October 26 (postmarked or emailed). Finalists will be called for an interview in November and winners will be notified shortly thereafter. Scholarships will be presented to the winners at the Honorees Night dinner in January.

The AICPA Legacy Scholars program is designed to make stellar students better equipped to conquer the working world. How? By providing them with real‐world experience and helping them develop the skills employers are looking for.
