Haas Basketball Club
The Haas Basketball Club,
lovingly referred to as Haas Hoops, creates opportunities for Haas students, their partners
and friends, to actively enjoy playing and learning about basketball. The club supports players
and fans of all levels, interests, and genders.
This team-oriented sport also fosters
collaboration and relationships that extend beyond the court. Haas Hoops organizes weekly playing time for all Haas students to play,
volunteer, watch and participate in the game of basketball.
The club also provides opportunities for matches with other programs at Berkeley, as well as with other schools in the Bay Area. The club will support teams that participate in the Berkeley Intramural Sports competition, local basketball tournaments, as well as the Challenge for Charity (C4C) sports championship weekend at Stanford University.
