>play:

DMEC’s annual flagship event, the Berkeley digital media conference (>play) brings together creative professionals, industry leaders, and academics to discuss the trends and challenges that face technology and digital media industries. Now in its third year, the conference continues to provide a unique experience - tons of networking opportunities, engaging discussions, and sneak peeks at the latest technology. >play is organized entirely by MBA and other graduate students at UC Berkeley. >play 2007 hosted keynote speakers Paul Campbell, founder of HP's Gaming business, as well as John Riccitiello, CEO of Electronic Arts. We featured 9 panels that discussed emerging themes in marketing, gaming, entertainment, digital music, Asian markets, entrepreneurship, mobile, politics, and social networking.
