The Entrepreneurs Association and Lester Center announce the 4th Annual Entrepreneurs Roundtable (ERT). Meet "Practicing Founders & CEOs of the Hottest Current Startups" in a relaxed & informative setting. Founders who attended last year were raising money right around ERT [Silicon Clocks ($11M), Meetro ($2M), etc.]. This was a sell-out last year, and this year will be even more exciting!

10th Annual Venture Capital Roundtable

Date: October 29th, 2007

This is the Entrepreneurs largest event of the fall in which we bring together students and venture capitalists for an evening of conversation. If you are interested in a career in venture capital or want to network with venture capitalists in a friendly setting absent of projectors, business plans or coffee, this is the event for you. This event will be co-marketed by Haas students interested in contacting VCs, the Lester Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Haas Alumni Relations Office. As EA members you have first priority, but register quickly as this event will sell out. Registration by invitation only.

VCIC – Kickoff Meeting 10/24

Date/Time: Wednesday, October 24th from 12:30pm to 2:00pm

Are you interested in a career in Venture Capital or Private equity? Are you an entrepreneur wondering how VCs make their funding decisions? Have you ever ‘pitched’ anything to a VC? Why not try it before it really counts.

Be a VC for a day and compete in the 2008 Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)!

There will be a kickoff meeting on Wednesday, October 24th from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at Haas, room C135. You’ll have the chance to learn more about the competition and meet potential team members.

Berkeley Lab Tour

Date/Time: Thursday, October 18th at 10-12am
Venue: Berkeley Labs
Meeting Spot: Haas Main Gate on Gayley (where the passenger pick-up is)
Transportation: A bus has been arranged to pick us up in front of Haas

A tour guide and a research scientist will lead a group of students through their (famous) facilities. They will be speak to the lab’s 75 year history, and take you around their centers where they conduct some of the fundamental studies of the universe; quantitative biology; nanoscience; new energy systems and environmental solutions.

Ideas@Haas Kickoff

It’s time to kick off Ideas@Haas! What’s that, you ask? Ideas@Haas is designed to help us meet other people who are interested in entrepreneurship. If you don’t have an idea for a new business or want to generate more ideas, join us! This is open to 1st and 2nd year MBA students, as well as other Berkeley graduate students.

The Entrepreneurs Association and Lester Center announce the second annual Entrepreneurs Roundtable on Thursday, April 13th in San Francisco.
The agenda:
Two breakout sessions – organized around industry and business function, respectively – to allow for up-close interaction with the entrepreneurs. A limit on the number of attendees to guarantee a high entrepreneur-student ratio. Time assigned for large group conversations and networking. Appetizers and open bar for all.
