Do you want to start a business? Are you looking for other like-minded entrepreneurs? Do you already have the next billion dollar idea? Do you need help in creating a business idea?

If so, then Ideas@Cal is your first stop. Our vision is to promote entrepreneurship at Cal by making it easier for students to navigate the process of starting a company. Ideas@Cal will hold ongoing events throughout the school year that are focused on:

    1) Helping students form startup teams and
    2) Helping students generate new business ideas

In addition, we will provide startup teams with a roadmap for how to get their company off the ground. Ideas@Cal has evolved from Ideas@Haas in order to encourage collaboration among all of the schools within Berkeley.

Upcoming events:

Ideas@Cal is holding an event on Thursday, October 29th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the Wozniak Lounge at Soda Hall. The purpose of this event is to provide a forum for entrepreneurs to come together and generate business ideas. The event will be highly interactive with brainstorming sessions in small groups and then several rounds of entrepreneur “speed-dating" that will allow participants to meet potential team members and to exchange ideas with others in the Cal community.
