The Club's main events

On the business side, there is an event that stands out from all the rest: The European Business Trip. The European Business Trip is an event that has been organized by the club for a long time, in which a number of visits to major European companies is packed into a week-long stay in Europe. This provides MBA students the opportunity of visiting and networking with a larger number of prominent and influential executives of some of the most exciting European companies, such as Vodafone, Telefonica, LVMH, Nokia or Philips.

This event usually takes place every 18 months (in order to achieve maximal attendance among both first and second year students). Following this timeframe, the club’s current direction is planning the next European trip for December 2008.

In terms of non-business events, the club’s activities are very diverse and naturally less predictable. To get information on upcoming events, please contact any of the club’s officers.

We have also for the first time organized Winter Coffee Chats across European Cities during Winter break 2007 to share our knowledge and passion of the Berkeley MBA. These informal events were hosted by current students in the home countries, and were an excellent opportunity to meet potential future classmates.  Look for these events next year as well.
