Topic: An Analysis of Mortgage/Credit Crisis - and How to Benefit from It
In this presentation, Mr. Tilson will first offer an overview of mortgage crisis, reviewing its causes and its consequences. He will then present his outlook on the home and mortgage markets, identifying other potential challenges on the horizon. To cap it off, Mr. Tilson will present three investment ideas for this difficult market."
Mr. Whitney Tilson's bio:
"Whitney R. Tilson is the Founder and a Managing Partner of T2 Partners LLC, which manages three private investment partnerships and the Tilson Mutual Funds. He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Value Investor Insight. Tilson has been a guest on Lou Dobbs Moneyline and Wall $treet Week, has been profiled by the Wall Street Journal and is a regular columnist for Financial Times. He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Value Investing Congress.
Mr. Tilson received an MBA with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School, where he was elected a Baker Scholar (top 5% of class), and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, with a bachelor’s degree in Government."
