You are cordially invited to participate in an exciting workshop on wireless strategy organized by he Fisher Center for the Strategic Use of IT, the Center for Electronic Business at San Francisco Sate University, the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) in Munich, Germany; and the Telecommunications Business Research Center (TBRC) in Lappeenranta, Finland. The above organizations have recently formed an International Technology and Strategy Forum to explore the impact of emerging technologies and telecommunications in an international context: ·

      • Business opportunities created by new technologies ·
      • Strategic deployment of new technologies ·
      • Organizational change and management of new technologies ·
      • Public policy and societal issues surrounding technology

The workshop is NOT a technology workshop, but rather a forum for looking at some of the strategic business issues surrounding wireless. This unique workshop will bring together industry leaders, strategic decision makers, and academic researchers to jointly explore the strategic business issues surrounding wireless in an US-European comparison, ·

      • Competing standards & technologies, ·
      • International differences, ·
      • Regulatory constraints, ·
      • Convergence of phones and PDAs, ·
      • IP based vs. cell based, ect.

The workshop fee is $250 for corporate and $125 for academic participants.
