Professor C. West Churchman
Introduction to a gEm seminar,
Fall 1996
We want to present an ethics course, a course about good and evil, to an Internet audience as well as a classroom of students in the traditional sense.
Our ambition is to discuss some things that will help people all over the world to lead better lives than they do now, or ever have.
That's our advertisement. "Advertisement" means selling information.
Why sell information over the internet?
Do we expect to get a return?
What price should we charge for our information?
What are you willing to pay to learn about good and evil,
right and wrong?
How do you know whether this course is any good,
worth anything at all?
