The Haas Healthcare and BioBusiness Club (H2B2) is a student run organization based at the Haas School of Business that aims to both educate students on the multi-faceted nature of the healthcare and biotech industries as well as connect students with industry alumni and professionals. H2B2 was formed in early 2007 by the merger of two student organizations: Healthcare@Haas and the Berkeley BioBusiness Association. Our organization encompasses a comprehensive network of students, alumni, academicians and key professionals from across:

the Haas School of Business

the greater UC Berkeley community

engineering, medical, public health, public policy, and law schools from the Bay Area

Our speakers series whose interests and backgrounds ranged from social responsibility in healthcare companies to universal healthcare. Each year, we organize a speaker series. Last year’s BioBusiness Speaker Series covered topics including: starting a med-device company, bringing biotech drugs to market, business development in bio-pharma, and strategic consulting to the life-sciences.  We are in the process of putting together another great line up of speakers for next fall’s series.
