  Haas Healthcare & BioBusiness

Academics

The Haas Healthcare and BioBusiness Club works closely with Health Management faculty to revise course curriculum, identify student needs and propose new courses. We most recently worked with faculty to revise the requirements of the Health Management Certificate program and to develop three new courses: the Healthcare Technology Policy Seminar, Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology, and Healthcare Technology Finance and Strategy.

Each year, we organize a speaker series. Last year’s BioBusiness Speaker Series covered topics including: starting a med-device company, bringing biotech drugs to market, business development in bio-pharma, and strategic consulting to the life-sciences.  We are in the process of putting together another great line up of speakers for next fall’s series.
