The Haas Healthcare Association (HHA) is a student run organization based at the Haas School of Business that aims to both educate students on the multi-faceted nature of the healthcare and biotech industries as well as connect students with industry alumni and professionals. In addition, each year the HHA organizes a Healthcare Speaker Series in which students may enroll for 1 credit. The speakers series features inidividuals from the public and private sector whose backgrounds range from social responsibility to marketing to strategy in healthcare companies. Last year’s speaker series covered topics including: starting a med-device company, bringing biotech drugs to market, business development in bio-pharma, and strategic consulting to the life-sciences. We are in the process of putting together another great line up of speakers for this fall’s series, which begins in late October.
