Warren Buffett Trip
Last November, MBA students from Haas traveled to Omaha, Nebraska,
to meet Warren Buffett, perhaps the world's greatest investor.
The day began with a tour of Nebraska Furniture Mart, which
is a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. Students then were treated to a lunch and
extended Q&A session with Mr. Buffett. To finish things off, an executive
in one of Berkshire's portfolio companies talked to the students about what it was like to work for Mr. Buffett.
It was a truly memorable experience for everyone involved. The students
at Haas would like to thank Mr. Buffett for taking the time to talk to us. Additionally,
special thanks to Billy Leung for planning the event.
