Firm
Night
The
HTC Firm Night is an annual recruiting event held each spring that draws
the hottest companies in the Bay Area. Each year we invite companies
that are seeking Haas students for both full-time employment and summer
internship opportunities. We specifically target those firms that
are not involved in on-campus recruiting or other on-campus visits,
offering a great opportunity for Berkeley MBA students and these firms to
connect.
The next HTC Firm Night will be held on Thursday March 6, 2008 at the International House Auditorium.

Tech
Topics (MBA 294.8)
The
Technology Topics course will serve as an introduction to the technology
and business trends of Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and the East Bay.
This course was created to allow MBA students to gain an insight into
technology to complement their academic learning in traditional business
classes. Speakers from the industry will be brought in to share
insights about a particular technology and to provide real life lessons in
managing such technology.
This
year’s class will focus on three distinct modules. The current modules
being planned include wireless, multimedia, and enterprise solutions.
Specific topics within each module will be described in the course
syllabus.

Tech
Trek
The
Tech Trek represents a tremendous opportunity for students to visit
leading technology companies in the Bay area. Companies that have hosted
Tech Trek in the past include Google, Yahoo!, Apple, Cisco, Sun
Microsystems, Microsoft,
and 3com.
Our visits usually start with the company overview, followed by
description of the recruiting process and conclude with a brief tour of
the company facilities.
