The Latin American and Hispanic Business Association (LAHBA)
unites students from all backgrounds who share an interest in learning about our
cultures. With over 60 members, LAHBA is one of the largest student-run organizations
at Haas. Our goal is to create a sense of community among Latino and Hispanic
students. To achieve this objective, LAHBA organizes several activities throughout
the year including: lectures, socials and professional networking events.
One of the distinct characteristics of the Berkeley MBA is our warm, collaborative
environment. LAHBA promotes collaboration through a number of events to foster
relationships within the membership and the Haas community at-large. Additionally,
LAHBA provides a forum where diverse experiences, perspectives, and resources can be
shared. In 2005, Hispanic Business Maganize rated Haas #2 in its annual ranking of
the "Top 10 Business Schools for Hispanics" while America Economia ranked Haas
#14 for "Best Global MBA Programs".
