Over the years as LBSA Alumni further develop their careers, they have enter different business sectors and become part of some of the most important companies in corporate America as well as other organizations. LBSA alumni have played all kinds of roles within their organizations from program managers of non-profit organizations to consultants, analysts, auditors, human resource managers, investment bankers, and entrepreneurs. LBSA Alumni have made many accomplishments and become leaders in the business world, becoming role models to the LBSA community at UC Berkeley. However, LBSA alumni have not only dedicated all their time to their careers but also keep on contributing to LBSA by becoming mentors and playing key roles in the annual projects held by LBSA for the student community.

Giving Back to LBSA:
Throughout the year LBSA engages in a series of projects where alumni play a very important role in the success of such projects. You can give back to LBSA by participating in such projects or activities that best suites your schedule.
LBSA Alumni Scholarship: Every year LBSA alumni engage in fundraising efforts and in the logistical organization of the annual LBSA Alumni scholarship to help current LBSA students with their education costs. The period this project takes place is from early October to April.
LBSA Mentor Program: Throughout the year LBSA makes every effort to provide LBSA alumni mentors to LBSA students who need guidance regarding their career path, academics, and also to provide LBSA students an opportunity to build strong relationships with the LBSA Alumni.
LBSA Electoral Committee: At the start of every academic semester, the LBSA Executive Board seeks for LBSA Alumni willing to help the President and the VP of External Affairs with the selection of candidates running for Executive Board positions. This step in the election process is to ensure every candidate succeeds as part of the future Executive Board. Time this project takes place is at the end of November and April.
LBSA Alumni Panel: Every year LBSA organizes the Annual LBSA Alumni Panel where LBSA alumni share their experiences within LBSA, their professional paths after LBSA, and help answer questions from the LBSA students. LBSA students benefit from the advice the alumni give and the alumni get the opportunity to interact with LBSA students after the panel during a social event with the students. If you want to become part of the Fourth Annual Alumni Panel in Fall 2008 you can contact the VP of Alumni Affairs.
LBSA Annual Banquet: At the end of the academic year in April, LBSA organizes one of the biggest events of the year to celebrate the accomplishments of LBSA, to award recipients of the LBSA Alumni Scholarship, and to recognize LBSA students as well as alumni. The banquet is a great way for alumni to come together again and for LBSA students to interact with LBSA alumni. The 10th Anniversary LBSA Annual Banquet will take place on April 26th 2008. We hope to see you all there!
LBSA Weekly Events: LBSA organizes an event led by representatives from our corporate sponsors almost every Wednesday for the student community. LBSA focuses on a variety of topics ranging from personal finance to leadership and networking during these events. LBSA Alumni are always welcomed during these events where they can meet and interact with past and new LBSA members.
