The Haas Leadership Club seeks to provide students at the Haas School of Business with tools and resources to understand leadership and to develop their own leadership capabilities.

Leadership is a broad word. And for many, the meaning of leadership varies. Therefore, the first goal of the Haas Leadership Club is to provide opportunities to explore and understand the role of a leader so that students might develop their personal leadership styles.

That said, there are some general tenets of leadership that are widely accepted.  Leading is about connecting with and inspiring people to work together toward a common goal.  It is about helping people realize their potential and providing the proper conditions and motivation for them to succeed.

Therefore, the second goal of the Haas Leadership Club is to provide students with practical activities that will help them in their development.
