between the Haas School and the College of Engineering gives

Haas Technology Club. The Haas Technology
Club is for anyone who has a passion for technology. Their
mission is to leverage our proximity to the epicenter of technology
by providing members access to educational, career, and networking
opportunities. The HTC also sponsors the annual Digital Media
Conference, providing a forum "where technology business
and academia meet." This is a fantastic opportunity for
you to network with big name players in the technology fields.
Berkeley Nanotechnology Club. The BNC is
an interdisciplinary student-led initiative in nanotechnology
at UC Berkeley. BNC is affiliated with the Nanoscale Science
and Engineering Group as well as the Management of Technology
program. BNC organizes the Berkeley Nanotechnology Forum and
the Nano Opportunity Challenge.
Berkeley BioBusiness Association (B3A). B3A
is a forum for all members of the UC graduate student community
to learn more about the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and
medical device industries. By leveraging its location in the
"Biotech Bay", the club provides opportunities for
students to interact with professionals working in a range
of functions in these industries. They sponsor a speaker series
and a Firm Night.
Lester Fellows Meetings. The Lester Fellows
program supports the involvement of entrepreneurail leaders
in the varied activities of the Haas School. Fellows are successful
Bay Area company founders and venture capitalists who have
been closely affiliated with the center for at least one year
and serve as mentors to the Berkeley MBAs. Fellows are chosen
not only for their entrepreneurial track record, but for their
enduring commitment of time and energy to the Haas School.
MOT Lecture Series. Offered in the spring,
this lecture series brings to campus innovators, venture capitalists
and entrepreneurs who have had significant impacts on technology,
especially in the Bay Area.
