Making a DVD from your Mini DV tape:
1. Load the Mini DV tape.
2. With the remote control, press Dubbing to access the
Dubbing Menu screen.
3. Load a Blank DVD-R or DVD-RW. (DVD+R or DVD+RW is not
compatible).
4. Use the selection arrow keys to select “DV->DVD”,
then press Enter.
5. Select “Manual”, then press Enter.
6. Use the selection arrow keys to select “Select
Recording Mode”, then press Enter.
7. Choose the record mode option based on the length of
time of the recording that you want dubbed. See chart above.
Round up to the higher number if the length of time is between
recording modes.
8. Use the selection arrow keys to select “Select
Sound Mode”, then press Enter.
9. Choose the “Sound1” option.
10. Use the selection arrow keys to select “Confirm”,
then press Enter, and wait a few seconds.
11. Cue up the starting point of what you’re dubbing
by using the playback controls and then hit pause.
12. Use the selection arrow keys to select “Auto Finalize”.
13. When the dubbing finishes, the tape stops and “Dubbing
Completed” appears on the screen. Press Enter to end.
The tape is automatically rewound.
