Mission
The Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership prepares leaders with the practical business skills to found, lead, manage and govern nonprofit and public organizations for the public good.
Goals
- Educate and train nonprofit and public sector leaders
- Prepare the Haas student body with the skills and knowledge to serve in community and public life--for example, on nonprofit boards, on public commissions, in public financing, in nonprofit consulting, in business partnerships and collaborations with social sector organizations
- Train other students at UC Berkeley schools and programs in the management of nonprofit and public institutions
- Contribute to a growing body of knowledge about the social sector, and the new ventures and opportunities it offers
Program Focus
The Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership provides MBA students an opportunity to augment the core business curriculum with specialized coursework, practical application, and career opportunities in public and nonprofit management.
