BA 289A- Real Estate Doctoral Seminar

Course Description
This Ph.D. seminar provides an overview of theoretical and empirical research related to real estate asset and capital markets. The course is designed to give students:

  1. An improved ability to read and criticize theoretical and empirical papers in this field;
  2. Enhanced skills needed to undertake and present theoretical and empirical research in real estate; and
  3. A working knowledge of some of the main econometric tools and theoretical modeling strategies that have been applied in recent research.

The topics covered in the course are intended to expose students to some of the major contributions in real estate research and to highlight recent methodological advances in the field.
