CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
The 32nd Annual Real Estate & Economics Symposium has been approved for 8 units of continuing education credit from the Office of Real Estate Appraisers (OREA), 8 units of continuing education credit from the Department of Real Estate (DRE Sponsor #1656), and for 1 re-certification credit from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). However, this approval does not constitute an endorsement of the views or opinions that are expressed by the course sponsor, instructors, authors or lecturers.

The OREA and DRE require attendees to be present for 90% of the program session time. Attendance will be verified for registrants seeking continuing education credit from these or other professional organizations. Attendance forms MUST be picked up at the registration table upon arrival.  Completed forms must be presented, with a photo I.D., to conference staff at the end of the day to receive credit. There is no partial credit for partial attendance.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DRE CONTINUING EDUCATION APPLICANTS:
The DRE now requires that each applicant sign in with a photo I.D. before the program begins and take and pass (by 70%) a written exam at the end of the day. This will be an open book exam consisting of 35 True/False questions. Please plan on staying at least one half hour longer after the conference ends in order to meet this requirement if you wish to receive DRE credit.

FCREUE has been a leading research center in the real estate finance area since its establishment at the University of California at Berkeley in 1950. It provides a forum for business leaders, government officials and academics, and is dedicated to high-level academic and executive education programs. The University of California is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds of this conference are used to support FCREUE’s education, fellowship and research functions.

Once again, the annual Symposium will be the best single day you can spend this year  to get the ideas and direction you need for next year!  We look forward to seeing you at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on November 23rd, 2009.
