Eugene Lin
After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration and a music minor, Eugene spent four years working in a litigation consulting company and performing economic/financial analysis for cases involving consumer packaged goods, technology, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries. He now returns to Haas for an MBA degree with emphases in Marketing and General Management. Eugene is currently the Co-President of the General Management and Strategy Club, and a student interviewer/blogger for the Haas MBA Admissions Office. During his free time, Eugene enjoys playing softball, singing, and managing his fantasy baseball teams. |

Lauren Stark Prior to Haas, Lauren spent three years working as a management consultant for Kurt Salmon Associates. Lauren’s project experience includes supply chain strategy, technology strategy, change management, and systems implementations. Lauren next spent two years as a business analyst for Williams-Sonoma where she implemented process and technology changes to support targeted marketing initiatives within the company’s six brands. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a certificate in Social Psychology from Georgia Tech. Outside of Haas, Lauren is passionate about yoga, hiking, travel, and cooking. Lauren has also completed four triathlons within the past two years. |

Jose Miguel Dergal Prior to attending Haas, Jose Miguel worked for five years as a Management Consultant for Everis Business. As a senior consultant, Jose Miguel worked in a wide array of industries from CPG to Telecommunications and Financial Services; he specialized in Business Development and Analytic Marketing projects in markets like Mexico, Central America and Spain. Jose Miguel holds a BA in Financial Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) where he received the ‘Tower of Excellency’. During his free time, Jose Miguel enjoys outdoor traveling, architecture trends, and sport motoring. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in general management or corporate strategy roles. |

Jeep Rojchaichaninthorn Before coming to Haas, Jeep spent three years as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., where she served ministers of finance in several emerging markets to improve their fiscal management. Jeep implemented decentralization projects in Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda and engaged a number of analytical works including oil revenue distribution for Iraq government. At Haas, Jeep is a student admissions interviewer and she helps organize annual Asia Business Conference. Jeep graduated with a Masters of Arts in Applied Economics and Public Policy from University of Michigan. As a native Thai, she loves professional Thai cooking and considers herself a food connoisseur. |

Paul Javid Paul Javid is a first-year MBA and MPH student at UC Berkeley. Prior to Berkeley, Paul held a variety of roles as a consultant, technical expert and researcher in the application of technology to emerging markets in India, Bangladesh, and Cambodia. Between 2006 and 2008, while working with Microsoft Research in India, Paul successfully helped found two non-governmental organizations, Digital StudyHall and Digital Polyclinic which utilize a cost-effective distance education and teacher-training system to extend high-quality education and health services to rural communities. Throughout his two year tenure with Microsoft in India, Paul expanded Digital StudyHall to over 15,000 families in India which required managing key partnerships and alliances with over a dozen organizations and managing the human, financial, and organizational growth process and evaluating its overall success. Paul’s work envisioning, building, and implementing technical systems in India in has been published in five peer-reviewed academic journals and conferences. He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Outside of Haas, Paul enjoys rugby, soccer, rock climbing and anything else that allows him to be part of natures wonders. |

Daniel Perl Dan comes to Haas after spending five years with St. Louis-based McCormack Baron Salazar, a mission-driven real estate company focused on developing affordable housing in low-income urban neighborhoods throughout the country. Dan was a Project Manager on large-scale, mixed-income urban redevelopments in Cleveland, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. He led an interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and financial analysts and worked closely with elected officials, private investors and neighborhood residents. Dan attended the University of Michigan, where he studied History and Psychology, and spent a year as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs following graduation. At Haas, he serves as a Haas Student Ambassador and as a Social Sector Solutions consultant to a local not-for-profit financial institution. |

Melissa Housman Prior to coming to Haas, Melissa worked at A.T. Kearney, doing management consulting for four years. In the general practice, Melissa worked with clients in the telecom, insurance, chemicals, government, and education industries, across strategy, operations and organizational transformation projects. Melissa received a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. After Haas, Melissa plans to work in a Corporate Strategy or Product Management role. In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing capoeira, listening to music and traveling internationally. |

Amy Bai Prior to attending Haas, Amy spent three years in the Strategy and Operations practice of Deloitte Consulting, where she focused on growth strategies, sales force effectiveness, and process reengineering. Amy has consulted for a number of Fortune 500 companies in the Financial Services and Health Care industries. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from Columbia University. After graduating from Haas, she plans on pursuing opportunities in general management and strategy. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, hiking, and photography. |

Nick Freeman Nick is a first year full time MBA candidate. Prior to Haas, he spent 5 years as an investor relations consultant at Thomson Financial helping Silicon Valley technology companies understand their stock performance and effectively communicate with Wall Street. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of California, San Diego. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing golf, hiking, and traveling. Nick is also a Board Member of Challenge 4 Charity as VP, Sports and Events. |

Raj Sivasubramanian Raj is a 2nd year EWMBA student. He currently works as a sales engineer for Eaton Corporation, selling electrical power distribution and controls products to electrical distributors in the Bay Area. He has been with Eaton for a year, and prior to that spent seven years with Siemens Energy and Automation where he held a variety of roles in sales and marketing. Raj got his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech. Raj plans to pursue opportunites in corporate strategy after Haas. He is excited about the opportunites the GM&S club has for EWBMA students and hopes to get more EWMBA's involved in the club. In his limited free time these days, Raj enjoys traveling and sports, particularly tennis. |
