Dan Hoversten

Dan Hoversten is Managing Director for the Sustainable Jobs Fund in the Philadelphia office. He has extensive experience in the investment and trading fields and most recently was head of private placements and venture capital at the Professional Edge Fund. While at Professional Edge, a Philadelphia-based hedge fund, Hoversten generated deal flow, conducted analysis, and headed up the investment committee as well as serving as advisor to a number of the portfolio companies. He was previously with Alex. Brown, PaineWebber, Delta Trend and Advest Securities. He has also started several successful entrepreneurial ventures. Hoversten holds an undergraduate degree from Capital University and an MBA from Syracuse University.
