Tony Lent Co-Founder & Managing Director, EA Capital
Mr. Lent is a co-founder and managing director of EA Capital, which provides
investment banking and strategy services for resource productivity and
efficiency technology companies and major corporations seeking to acquire
such technologies. Mr. Lent has directed EA Capital's work in the energy and
transportation industries. His clients include major corporations,
venture-stage businesses, and financial institutions. Mr. Lent led EA
Capital's contribution to the development of the World Bank's Prototype
Carbon Fund and also the International Finance Corporation's Terra Capital
Fund focused on venture opportunities related to biodiversity conservation
and commercialization. Prior to EA Capital, Mr. Lent was a co-founder and
vice president of EcoTimber International, the leading US distributor of
certified sustainable hardwoods. Mr. Lent is also currently an advisor to
the Environmental Capital Network, an organization that convenes conferences
of private equity investors and deal flow related to the Fund's target
opportunities. Mr. Lent has a MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business
and received his BS in Biology from Tufts University.
