Jim Schorr
Jim Schorr joined Juma Ventures in November 2000 to lead the development and
launch of Juma Enterprise Center. Before joining Juma, Jim founded and
served as President of EcomBrands, an incubator focused on developing
Ecommerce businesses. Under Jim's leadership, EcomBrands developed and
launched six new businesses in 1998-2000. Prior to founding EcomBrands, Jim
led the new product development effort for Cobra Golf, where he launched
seven new products during 1996-1998. From 1994-1996, Jim worked as a
management consultant for Windermere Associates, a San Francisco-based
strategy firm, where he worked on projects for Procter & Gamble, McDonalds,
and other Fortune 500 corporations. In 1993, Jim co-founded Students for
Responsible Business (now Net Impact), an MBA student organization focused
on social change through business. Jim received his MBA from Northwestern
University (Kellogg) and his B.S. in Economics from the University of
Tennessee.
